Trias Celebrates Excellence in Partner Contributions for 2023

Trias Tanzania recently concluded its internal voting process to honor organizations that have excelled in various categories within its programmes in Tanzania. The awards aimed to recognize outstanding commitment and noteworthy contributions across different aspects of sustainable farming practices, inclusion, entrepreneurship, environmental conservation, and community collaboration.

The call for voting was accompanied by a sincere message encouraging all participants to approach the survey with objectivity and fairness. Each partner’s input was deemed invaluable in identifying the most deserving candidates across the specified categories. Emphasis was placed on considering outlined criteria for each award and providing honest assessments for every question posed.

The Awards Categories and Winners:

Inclusion Advancers Award: Recognizing PWC for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the agricultural or business sectors, creating an inclusive environment for all entrepreneurial individuals.

Entrepreneurship Excellence Award: TAHA was honored for displaying exceptional creativity, resilience, and business acumen in their entrepreneurial activities, significantly contributing to the entrepreneurial landscape.

Eco-Champion Award: TPW emerged as the winner for their dedication as local champions in environmental causes within the farming community, making a positive impact through various conservation and preservation efforts.

Community Collaborators Award: Baraka Village was acknowledged for their outstanding partnership and collaborative efforts that have strengthened the network of farmer entrepreneurs, promoting sustainable practices and empowering local communities.

The voting process allowed participants to nominate partners for multiple awards based on their performance in respective categories. Notably, the Eco-Champion and Community Collaborators awards were open to individuals, Communities, enterprises, or governmental bodies, while the rest were exclusively for MBOs (Micro Business Organizations).

Trias, through this recognition, celebrates the dedication and remarkable efforts of these organizations and individuals, setting a high standard for excellence in the agricultural and entrepreneurial sectors.
